It was a Friday afternoon in Outing, with lunch now behind us and an afternoon of . . . 'What, there is a test already?'
The answer (the only one we'll give away free today is – Yes. And this is a lesson to be learned.

That being, in school, we learn and then are tested to see if we really learned. But as an adult, we all too often are tested first and we then learn based on how well we managed our way through the test. This could be something not liked that was done by a friend or a family member or by a peer or a boss at work. The big reality is that tests come at u in all different ways and often when we are not as ready as we would like to be (always has been, always will be). So then, please remember this. Your kids get plenty of tests as their young years unfold, and they – like you – will have plenty more in that time we call 'adult life'. Be understanding, be helpful and as best you can, if your kid(s) fail some of your tests . . . remember it is not the end of the world, it is a part of living and learning, so be forgiving. Thanks for considering this. Your kid(s) may already be home from school now. How about giving them a hug and how are you doing . . . before any homework, chores or whatever? |
And as we move forward in life, please remember: James 1:2-4
Count it all joy, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
