Our crossover (multiple website) series continues as we share Colin Powell's lessons on leadership. Our last one was shared via Special Addition: Lesson Five And next up is . . . Some of us remember Joe Friday's words: “Just the facts Ma'am.” And although we all would most likely agree that the facts are best to embrace; in life it is always best to embrace the right things (that is what Colin Powell reminds us with his lesson #6). |
And when we embrace this, we are looking and pursuing the long plan of life here goals are achieved and regrets are few. Which brings us to a good time to pause and add up these 6 lessons up. Are you remembering these 6 lessons: Each day is a new day (lesson 1) + you're controlling anger (lesson 2) + you're keeping your ego in check (lesson 3) + you know that you can do more than you think (lesson 4) + you're being careful in all of your decisions (lesson 5) + you're working to always do what is right (lesson 6). For if you are knowing what to do, what not to do, and as you go, you're trying to help others as best you can (and isn't that good?). |
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil."
